Convedia
Corporation announced today an established partnership with CINtel, a
leader in next generation networking in the Chinese market. Since 2004,

commercial deployments of Prepaid, IPBar, and Web800 sevices. Additional
services supported by the pre-integrated service delivery platform include
IP Centrex, UPT, DualRing, WAC, Color Ring Back Tones (CRBT), VoiceMail,

“CINtel already has an established and commercially successful relationship
with Convedia,” said. Xiaohua Yuan, CTO of CINtel. “Our R&D
teams have grown to depend on the versatility of the multi-service features
of Convedia media servers in a growing list of innovative next generation
IP service solutions. And with our joint support for IMS and video-based
services, we expect our partnership to continue to grow into new market
opportunities with service provider customers.”
Since pioneering the IP media server market in 2000, Convedia has focused
on the growth opportunities and service innovation encouraged in the Chinese
telecommunications market. Convedia’s early success in China’s
next generation market, through partnerships with next generation application
developers such as CINtel, has allowed Convedia to grow a substantial
business now managed through our regional sales office in Shanghai, China.
Today, over 40% of Convedia’s global revenues are generated from
the Chinese telecommunications market.
“Convedia is pleased to build a strong partnership with CINtel developing
innovative next generation services for the Chinese market,” said
Sam Gu, Convedia’s VP and General Manager of the Asia Pacific Region.
“CINtel’s next generation service solutions are at the forefront
of SIP application development. Our co-development efforts have not only
improved the capabilities of our media server products, but have also
resulted in early commercial success together throughout Asia. We look
forward to growing our business together into new opportunities with our
IMS and video-based service solutions.”
