Emirates Telecommunications Corporation - etisalat- has signed two Memoranda
of Understanding (MoU's) with Mitel Networks of UK- a leading provider
of IP communications solutions. Under the terms of the first MoU, Mitel
will provide etisalat an IP-based voice platform MN 3300 Integrated Communication
Platform (ICP) to be installed at Etisalat head office in Abu Dhabi. The
second MoU covers the provisioning of a Hosted Key System application
- the Mitel 3600. Convedia media servers will provide the IP media processing
required for the Mitel 3600 hosted solution.
