 Pactolus and Convedia first to demonstrate component, carrier-class, open IP solution for building enhanced services. The demonstration is the first public demonstration of a scalable, carrier-class Media Server connected to an Application Server developed by an independent software vendor. The conferencing application was built using the Pactolus RapidFLEX Service Creation Environment, and was easily created and modified to support IP phone conference calls using Pingtel phones and the CMS-6000’s audio bridging building block controlled by MGCP.
