"We are happy that Convedia and COMGATES are working closely together to bring innovative solutions to network and service providers." COMGATES CSSW4000 softswitch provides refined call control that enables simultaneous interworking between H.323, SIP and MGCP protocols within IP backbones. These qualities also enable multiple transmission protocols on the same operating platform, eliminating the need for users to commit to one protocol over another. The Softswitch is highly scalable and can provide support for 40,000 simultaneous calls. Convedia's Media Servers are a key component of the emerging softswitch architecture and are needed for a variety of traditional and emerging telecommunications services such as those requiring voice and video conferencing, speech recognition, voice messaging and network announcements/IVR capabilities. The CMS-6000 supports IP and ATM networks and can be utilized in packet telephony networks based on the Softswitch, PacketCable and 2G/3G wireless architectures. Convedia (booth # 1211/1213) and COMGATES (booth # 1311) are showcasing their industry leading solutions during the Fall 2001 VON event, October 16-18. About COMGATES Ltd.
