will deliver to service providers and enterprises the ability to make
use of presence information in multimedia collaborative applications.
Under the terms of the partnership agreement, Indigo
and Convedia are working closely to ensure seamless support of Convedia's
CMS-1000 and CMS-6000 Media Servers by the Indigo Presence Server SDKTM.
Indigo's Java presence software toolkits and Convedia's SIP enabled media
servers will be combined in order to support presence-based conferencing
applications never before possible. One key feature of the united offerings
will be automatic conference set-up as soon as all desired participants
are available, as denoted by their "presence status". This is facilitated
by a unique management of users' context informationonline status,
availability to communicate, media capabilities, etc.achieved by
the Indigo presence server along with the Indigo SIP proxy server.
