Convedia recognized for VoiceXML leadership with Editor’s Choice Award
from Communications Convergence Magazine


VANCOUVER, CANADA – March 28, 2003 – Convedia Corporation today announced that it has received an Editor’s Choice Award from Communication Convergence Magazine. The regular feature profiles leading-edge products designed for the converged communications market. Convedia was selected to receive this award for their innovative and market leading implementation of VoiceXML 2.0 in IP Media Servers.

CMS-6000 Media Server

Designed specifically for large carrier networks, the CMS-6000 provides service providers a modular and open platform for delivering media-intensive, real-time enhanced services such as voice and video conferencing, traditional IVR servers, and speech based services including pre-paid calling card services, voicemail, IP Centrex.

CMS-1000 Media Server
Convedia’s CMS-1000 is a feature-rich, high-performance media server in an affordable, single-rack-unit package. It is ideally suited for service providers such as independent operating companies (IOCs), providers of hosted application services and Fortune 500 companies deploying packet-voice applications. The CMS-1000 scales from 100 to 500 ports and is available in redundant 120/240 VAC, as well as redundant -48VDC power options.
